Improvements to GLOBIOM for ILUC assessment finalised!

Before starting the actual ILUC modelling, the consortium updates the GLOBIOM model. In spring 2014, the consortium agreed after consultation of stakeholders, advisory committee and the European Commission, on a list of model improvements. The consortium is pleased to circulate today a full description of research performed on the topics raised, the methodological assumptions followed, and the changes implemented into GLOBIOM to improve the model.

Although the project now has to move to the next phase of baseline and scenario modelling, we will keep a close eye on reactions to this document and additional information received. Your comments are welcome on any point presented in this document at the contact point, preferably before 10th October 2014.
